Matt Burkett

First real post..
So I am starting this blog with a highlight. I recently started on this Web/ Facebook Journey. I am spreading out socially a little step by step (I am not sure why?). I friended Matt Burkett (one of the top shooters in the world) through facebook and he confirmed me. He then proceeded to start some dialogue. He mentioned his desire to visit Maine and teach a class. He then said if I have the time give him a call.
Now most people wouldn't hesitate and I wasn't going to miss the opportunity. This is the same guy I have studied and watched video's for 9 months now. He was excellent to talk to. We laughed about a store he was at, Iron man stuff , what powder we each use. We had conversation about people we both know. He is just a good guy who happens to be a top world shooter.
He makes me realize that anyone can be the best if it is what you REALLY want and put in the effort. Matt, Kudos to you for being REAL! You made a great impression on me and look forward to shooting with you some day....
